   Whitewater Outpost is an expansive historic property near Cosby, Tn. that is perched above the fast flowing waters of the Pigeon River. This section of the Pigeon is famous for whitewater rafting trips that start just 4 miles down the road.
 
  The property features 2 all new tiny homes with decks overlooking the river. The tiny homes are from Incredible Tiny Homes located nearby in Newport, Tn. These are spacious tiny homes that will accommodate up to 4 guests. Each home has heat, air conditioning and standardized residential toilets. There is a trail that leads from the property into the Stone Mountain Trail and up to Buzzard’s Roost, which is featured on the “All Trails” app.

   We are situated between Gatlinburg and Maggie Valley, each about 30 miles away. If you prefer big city life then Knoxville and Ashville are each only about an hour away. We’re close to all that the Smokies have to offer. Don’t want to leave the property ? We have 1000 feet of river access for rafting, paddle boarding or productive fishing. We are surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest on the other 3 sides. There are 2 trails that start right on our property. There are lots of unpaved road adventures waiting near by. We have an abandoned still, old barn and 2 beautiful ravines right on the property.

   We are on the adventure side of the Smokies and just a stone’s throw from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Cherokee Foothills Parkway. We offer a unique outdoor experience while only 5 minutes off of Interstate 40. Bring your hiking boots and fishing poles but,  most importantly, your sense of adventure.
