Overall an excellent way to unplug and immerse yourself in nature while also being convenient and connected to popular attractions in the area. I will definitely book with Leslie and Karl again!

  This was the worst experience we have ever had with a host on Airbnb. The listing showed “waterfront property,” but this property is next to a busy road with no… read more access to the river unless we drove 3/4 of a mile down the road. There was no safe or clear way to get there on foot. In the Neighborhood Highlights, they mentioned you do not need to leave the property to access “the beach,” which is completely false. They did not disclose that their part of the property with “lake access” was down the road until after our check-in, so it was too late for us to change our minds or receive a refund. The “beach area” they referred to has a dilapidated picnic table on an unkempt small area next to the river, nowhere close to the property. They also listed this as a “verified” location, which was completely false. It showed as being next to the river, but was on the other side of the busy road. I had to report this to Airbnb, and the host was unresponsive after a few messages and denied a refund.

Besides that, we HIGHLY recommend this tiny home, it’s located within a convenient distance from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The view of the river is a plus and the sound of it at night is soothing! If you come across this listing don’t pass it up as we know you’ll enjoy it!

I really liked how it was only a 30-40 minute ride to all the attractions. The only downside to this tiny house was that the curtains were not thick enough. I know it was a private property and away from a lot of houses but I still felt uncomfortable changing in the room due to the curtains being see through. Other than that this house was so perfect and cozy and comfortable.

Our 3yr old didn’t want to leave “our blue house.”
